Family Link Worker
Mrs Mandy Pritchard, one of our HLTAs, is employed as a Family Link Worker. She is available to meet and greet in the morning and after school. She is also able to assist families in finding services to support them.
The role also includes preparing and delivering parent SEAL sessions.
Any issues or concerns can be dealt with swiftly, enabling a smoother start to the school day and ensuring teachers are ready to teach from the start of the school day.
Parents can approach the Family Link Worker on a wide range of issues and receive support and signposting to appropriate agencies for help and support. Communication between home and school on important issues is improved ensuring pupils are able to concentrate on their learning more easily. Barriers to learning are reduced.
