Going to school every day is the single most important part of your child’s education. Students learn new things at school every day – missing school puts them behind.
At our school we want our children to have a great education and the building blocks for this begin with children coming to school every day.
If children miss school regularly they miss out on learning the fundamental skills that will set them up for success in later life.
We monitor every pupil’s attendance carefully. The target for every child is 96.1% plus. Good attendance is celebrated and rewarded each term. If attendance drops below 96.1% we will to write to you and we will work with you to explore the reasons and see how best you can be supported.
No holidays in term time are authorised and any holidays exceeding 10 sessions (i.e. 5 days) will most likely incur a fixed penalty fine.
