What is Pupil Premium?
Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to publicly funded schools in England. Its purpose is to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
Funding for the Financial Year 2024-2025
For the 2024 - 2025 financial year, schools will receive:
a special guardianship order
a child arrangements order
a residence order
If a pupil is eligible for free school meals and has also left local-authority care for one of the reasons above, they will attract the higher rate of £2,570.

Is my child eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)?
All children at Key Stage 1 (Reception to Year 2) receive a free lunch through the Government's Universal Free School Meals Scheme. However, this is different from Pupil Premium Free School Meals (PPFSM).
Your child may be entitled to PPFSM if you receive any of the following:
Important:
Even if your Key Stage 1 child already receives a free meal, please apply for PPFSM if you are eligible. Claiming this ensures that we receive vital additional funding, which allows us to offer enhanced support and opportunities for all Pupil Premium children.
