Term 3 - How can we switch off?
How can we switch off?
During this enquiry, the children became Scientists, Engineers and Geographers.
As Geographers, the children looked at the UK, identifying where solar and wind farms have been placed. They looked at the physical geography of these areas.
As Scientists, the children learnt about renewable and non-renewable energy. They also learnt about the components of a circuit, conductors and insulators as well as how to create a switch.
As Engineers, they used their science knowledge to create a wire loop game.
